Hey there,

ok, first I'm humbled by the quality of thought demonstrated on this
site.  I'm not so smart as most, it seems.  But I still have something
to offer, if nothing more than another confrimation of the same...

The music/band changed my life.  Once I started really listening, my
brain was drawn to where my soul wanted to be.  Or maybe where my soul
already was.  I still don't know; it's all still pretty confusing:
reconciling the gap between everyday rules and the truths to which I've
been exposed.  Capt. Sky Pilot sez fly between the gaps in the rules,
but I don't find that an easy way thru because those gaps don't reveal
themselves to me, most times.  I bumble.

You guys who are chatting as if you've resolved this delima, well, I'm
sorta jelous.  But not so much so because I figure I have to learn my
lessons just like the next.  Can't jump from here to there without
slogging thru the mire, without flashing thru the brilliance.

All in all, I guess my best first toss-in-the-ring is to remind you
evolved folks to slow down, and, when you see an opportunity, please
offer guidance to we who may (or may not) be less understanding of "the
deal".  

I never intended to be a searcher nor traveler of the way.  I was
somehow stuck with this responsibility.  I'm trying my best, most
times.

Welcome, Rick. Everyone I've "met" in here has been very positive and
good-natured. They have good ears and lots of experiences to share. I,
too, am trying to let "it" figure me out, and with these friends, its
happening. So, welcome, and don't hestitate to ask anything or suggest
anything. This is a wonderful group of people!

BTW, we just moved to Ohio from Benton Harbor, MI. I see you're in SW
