Just had a note from Alan Trist, who talked with Donna Jean at the Oregon Country Fair recently. She says that the first line of this song is suppoed to be "Horses slide down off the mountain".

I'll try to get it fixed in the paperback edition of the Complete Annotated Grateful Dead Lyrics. Whew! [Read entire topic]
