Hello again,

Ronson coming along was Neuwirth's doing. He got friendly with Ronson
and Ian Hunter.
There's a new bio of Kinky Friedman that's about to be released. Go
to Kinky's web page www.kinkyfriedman.com for more details.

Kinky's garbage should be quarantined.

I remember reading somewhere that Dylan liked Nick Cave's work a lot.

i remember dylan praising prince very highly in rolling stone, but
that must have been fifteen years ago now.

The book is excellent, Mr. Sloman.

Someone mentioned Stew. Are there other lyricists out there that Dylan
likes? Beck springs to mind, or (less likely) Farrell, KRS-ONE, or Yauch.

Of course, there have been so few lyricists worth paying attention to in
the last 20 years, I'd be surprised if Dylan listens to any of it. And 90%
is hip-hop. (Does Dylan listen to hip-hop?)

To sashkenaz: there is no, nor has there been, a bio of Kinky.
But if you read his mystery novels, you get a very accurate -- albeit
fictionalized -- self-portrait of the real Kinkster.
Self-portrait. Cannot escape those Dylan refs. I feel like
Weberman...
