Good thing: in-room coffee (thank gopod I drink it black, or the powdered whitener would queer the deal).

Bad thing: free "continental breakfast," which invariably consists of bad pastry and rarely offers much in the way of protein or fiber.

Enterprise upgraded me to a black Suzuki SUV, which has a CD player which is REALLY improtant to me as I have a zizllion miles of driving to do in the nexst six days. Left Haddon Hill at 2:15, landed in Grants Pass a little before 9. Another 4 hours to drive tomorrow, destination Newport OR, where I will appear at a Performing Arts Center. Possibly the classiest gig I will have all year. We shall see.

The scary leg of the tour is Seattle Saturday night and Port Orford OR Sunday, estimated 9 hours driving between the two. I hope to get some sleep along the way. [Read entire topic]
