Some of us will be at Cody's in Berkeley tonight doing the book-signing
thing, so if you're in the mood/neighborhood around 7 pm (that being
Telegraph and, uh, Haste?), come on down!

A brief update on the progress of the book. We're going to be
reprinted in trade paperback by Oxford sometime this summer, which is
good news. We'll be able to fix all three typos we found. (If you found
any, let us know, quick! Two are in Silberman pieces ((I'll email you,
Steve...)) and one is in the index.) We sent in all our best review
blurbs, too.

We're doing a fun event on March 21 at the Petaluma Campus of Santa
Rosa Junior College, entitled "Where All the Pages Are My Days." We'll
read from and talk about the Reader, and we'll be joined by Dennis
McNally, who'll give a preview of his upcoming biography of the band.
So, if you're within striking distance of Petaluma, and Wednesday
nights aren't all booked up, please join us for this evening event in
the library on campus.

That's it for now!

Great news. This'll give me a good start on next year's holiday
gifts.

Hey you Deadheads!

See how many Dead references you can find in my new book, Reaping The
Wind, which is the topic of an inkwell.vue interview over the next two
weeks.

ANybody know of a good place to hold a Dead-jam in Marin? I'm trying
to pull together a gig with my band, Space Debris, and others. Let me
know of suggestions ASAP!!

You should hop on the San Francisco <---> Boulder axis, Peter. We could
use a good Deadfest here in Boulder about now, if not springtime. Dr. Gans
can give you a set of directions that lead here by hook or by crook.

Jon -- would love to.

Where is the Doctor? Is he in the house?

Thanks to David Gans for mentioning the Reader on his radio show last week,
I think it was, whilst interviewing Ed McClanahan. And to the folks who put
together The Grateful Dead: The Illustrated Trip, for including us in the
bibliography as a source!
