It's been a while since we had a toppic clearout here. Herewith a list of
hitlisted topics which haven't been posted to for 180 days or more. The
usual drill applies - if you feel any of these topics deserve to live on
(and I think some of them do, at least) just post to them and reset the
clock. (The hosts reserve the right to retire topics anyway even if
they do get reset in order to keep the topic list manageable. The list is
a little long and bewildering at the moment, and there are a number of

The Pre.vue conference is seeing some hostly changes. Recently cohost 
Mike (mpk) Knell let me know that he was resigning his hostship here to 
dedicate his time to other things in his life that were demanding his 
attention.

Simultaneously, pre.vue cohost Eleanor (wellelp) Parker has also been
facing a lot of demands on her time and energy that have made it hard
for her to give her usual high level of attention to this hostship, so 
Eleanor is taking a sabbatical. 

The Pre.vue conference isn't hostless, though. Longtime WELL member and
experienced host Alan (arturner) Turner has graciously agreed to step
in and watch over the conference for a few months while we do a bit of 
regrouping. 

I want to thank you, Mike, for hosting here for the past two+ years.
You've been a real asset to the conference and I wish you all the best.

I also want offer thanks to Alan for volunteering to preside over pre.vue 
for the time being. I appreciate your willingness to help out!

And Eleanor, thank *you* for all you've given to this conference since
you joined the hosting team in July '04. Here's hoping things ease up
for you soon and that we see you return to this hostship refreshed and
energized in January. In the meantime, don't be a stranger, come on by
and say hello when you have a chance.
