Utterly poetic image, satyr! Not so poetic image there, bubbles.
(*shudder*)

One time I was driving in Hawaii when suddenly I passed through a
delicate shower, but I couldn't find any clouds except for a little
feather way high in the sky. That made me shiver with wonder.

I'd heard it as the Man in the Moon beating his wife.

The devil, of course, was chasing his wife.

Chances are you've heard of rain happening at the same time as bright
sunshine. If you live in the west, you'll likely have seen it at least
once, and I'd seen it before, but never like today.

Today the rain came from the direction of a part of the sky that was almost
completely clear, and very nearly from the direction of the sun itself.
Looking up, the drops were like diamonds falling from the sky, or, because
I could see individual drops while they were still several seconds away,
traversing it, buffeting slightly as they approached in their gravity
powered flight, almost appearing to strain to reach the end of it.
