He's just released the companion album to Origins, Artifacts, and has a limited edition CD of deep ambient music called The Dream Circle. Tuesday, March 7, 1995 #95-JO7-00047 Native American Winds The Native American flute is a simple instrument, just 5 finger holes and barely an octave's range, but master players like R. Carlos Nakai and others extract a range of emotions that seem to penetrate the soul. We'll be hearing an hour of Native American Flute permutations from the traditional sounds of Robert Tree Cody to the fusions of R. Carlos Nakai and the electronic manipulations of Coyote Oldman. Wednesday, March 8, 1995 #95-JO7-00048 FEATURE - Tim Clement & Mychael Danna: North of Niagara Tim Clement is a synthesist known for his trans-cultural fusions on CDs like "Waterstation". Mychael Danna is a classically-trained pianist who also has composed soundtracks for planetarium shows. Their recordings together combine environmental samples, lush electronic textures, and romantic melodies.
