COOPERATIVE ADVENTURES

Cooperative Adventures are a series of increasingly complex and difficult challenges presented to groups in such a way so that success can only be achieved through communication and cooperation. The challenges are selected, presented, sequenced, and evaluated so that group and individual self-esteem is enhanced through the development of trust, risk-taking, and cooperation.

The program is well-rooted in existing research and practical application in the fields of cooperative education, adventure programming, experiential education, challenge ropes courses, and affective education.

Although originally designed for use with elementary (K-6) school children, the program has been successfully adapted and used with middle and high school youngsters, school staffs, community organizations, and corporate groups.

Programs are tailored to individual group's needs and goals and range from 1/2 day demonstration programs to multi-day residential programs. They can be offered both on and off the school/corporate site.

Program cost varies and is based on length of program, travel distance to site, and planning time required.
