Microorganisms

Welcome to the interesting world of microorganisms. The proper definition of a microorganism is a living organism that can not be seen by the naked eye and can take different shapes. They can take the shapes of spheres, rods, and spirals. The three different names of the most common microorganisms are fungi, bacteria, and viruses. Most microorganisms usually have to be magnified 500 times larger than their original size to be seen by the naked eye.

Microorganisms reproduce in many different ways. Like the mushroom, which reproduces by spores. Yeast mold, which reproduces by budding, bacteria, which reproduces by multiplying and viruses, which reproduce in the presence of DNA or RNA. Microorganisms are also helpful and harmful. They can destroy, hurt, or kill living or non-living organisms. They can also help living or non-living organisms.
