These writings express opinions so personal that I'm not sure they should even be called "opinions". They simply describe ways of seeing things which I have found myself adopting: sometimes with a lot of thought, and sometimes, just about instinctively.

You Know You Should Be Glad: a very brief musing, from 2003, about the relationship between being thankful for something, and simply being glad of it.

My Spiritual Journey: Friends (Quakers) often share informal, oral spiritual autobiographies amongst themselves. This piece is based on such a talk that I made at Raleigh Friends Meeting in 2004.
