THE JAVA JAM (NO JIVE)

I wake up in the morning and turn on the radio
My head is still in dreamland and my limbs move really slow
I struggle to the kitchen ... got to get my fix
Pour the treasure in the grinder, plug it in and hit the switch

The buzzing shoots right through me; it wakes me half way up
I fill the pot with water, grab a filter and my cup
The dripping takes forever ... can I bear it 'til the end?
The day cannot begin until I pour that Java in my body

My heart is beating faster
That Java's got me going

One sip an' I feel much better
Draining my cup I have to get me another, and then another
