 What I'm up to:

 I am reading my way through the Aubrey/Maturin novels by Patrick O'Brian

I am interesting in portable/wireless communications and make extensive use of my MagicCap driven Envoy.

I am looking for opportunities to learn more about parallel programming and to apply my interest in functional languages.
Currently, I am playing with using Java to write lightweight network clients and perhaps personal mail router.
I am also studying the Unified Modeling Language for describing oo projects.
