Interviews with Howard Rheingold
The PBS program Frontline interviewed me at length for their recently broadcast program about cyberspace. Of course, most of what I said hit the cutting room floor, but you can read a transcript of the longer interview online.
In the fall of 1995, I engaged in an e-discussion with William Mitchell, Mark Slouka, and Stacy Horn. One of those post-neo-luddite debates about whether this is real. Feed, truly one of the firstest coolest webzines, pioneered this form of hyperlinked metadebate, and in this instance, I think it worked well.
In early May 1995, in Amsterdam, I did a television interview with a very savvy crew from an independent outfit called VPRO. In fact, the man who did HotWired's icon design, Max Kissman, was doing it for VPRO first. Here's the English transcript of my VPRO interview.
