The V7 Sport
My motorcycles currently include a '71 Triumph Bonneville, a
'74 BMW R90 /6, a '75 Yamaha RD350
(owned since new) and a '74 Moto Guzzi V7 Sport. While
I love them all, the Guzzi holds a special place in my heart, even though
(or perhaps because) it is in pieces, and I have never seen it put together,
much less ridden it. It is a major restoration project. So far, the wheels,
brakes, forks, frame and transmission are done. The motor is completely torn
down, and awaiting an influx of cash, energy and time.
I am working on another Triumph project which
is little beyond the drawing board. It is a race replica. I am also
interested in learning about methanol as a bike fuel. Any old racers
out there with some knowledge? I am interested in some starting points
for jetting and timing, etc. Send me an e-mail.
