Like the Triumph, it's under contruction

The Triumph project is based on a sixties vintage frame design. The design is similar to those used by Dunstall and Seeley. The basic idea is triangles of straight run tubing, with the motor hung under the frame as a semi-stressed member. Mine will also include an oil tank in the frame. I am aquiring parts for the project, as well as working out a number of design issues.

Most issues will be settled by finance and availability. This originally might have been Norton powered, but a Triumph motor turned up. I believe rear brakes will be drum, but fronts are still undecided. I wanted a four leading shoe drum, but may not be able to find anything affordable. I think forks will be Cerriani, but have yet to get them. As this is just a fun bike, and I am interested, I am considering methanol fuel. I am looking for information on methanol powered bikes, especially Triumphs. Somebody out there must have some information, or know of a reference. Send me an e-mail.
