McManus Book Tour 1997

Home

The Jeffrey P. McManus low-budget, high-anxiety book tour is beginning to take shape. Here are the particulars:

May 7th, 1997 5:30 p.m.
Stacey's Professional Bookstore
581 Market Street, San Francisco
The undisputed 800-pound gorilla of Bay Area bookstores takes on the unflappable 200-pound baboon of Visual Basic components. This will be my very first hometown, open-to-the-public book promotion thingie, so you know it will be strange and stimulating at the very least. Come by and see how badly all my friends can humiliate me -- and if you put on your thinking cap you might even learn a thing or two. Stacey's has just completed a palatial remodeling and they have a brand spanking new area for author presentations. I'm looking forward to spilling coffee on it in order to break it in.

June 23-25, 1997
VBITS Conference
New York, NY
It's always a special time when renegade software developers get crazy on the streets of Manhattan, and this year will be no exception. The details on this one aren't final yet, but it will probably involve me sitting in front of a card table answering questions, signing books, and wistfully checking out cute Nynex project managers in tidy pleated skirts from across the room.

Feel free to send me email with questions or comments.
