We are The WELL.
We are a store of knowledge.
Throughout known history there are dark times when special groups must safeguard the collected wisdom of the world until humanity is ready to progress once again.
In this age we are tasked with that responsibility. We make it our business to travel the land and collect what there is to know.
We make our knowledege available when it is necessary to change the course of history, or to those willing to pay what true knowledge is worth.
The Well Guild currently exists only on Povar. You'll find most of us in Antonica, but you might see others of us wandering around just about anyplace.

The Well, http://www.well.com, is an online conferencing system that predates the WWW and most current Internet users. Originally a part of the Whole Earth Access community, the WELL is now owned by Salon, http://www.salon.com.

The Well Guild is an Everquest guild open to Well members. The guild was formed because it seemed like a good idea at the time. We haven't done anything terribly useful as of yet except have many fun adventures. We also tend to talk a lot about EverQuest in the Well's EverQuest topic, everquest.ind.
