By your silence you have made it difficult to convincingly describe
the terrible reality of their usage.

I understand how hard it is
to comprehend that such inhuman applications of technology
so pervasively exist.
(The sun is shining; there is other work to do.
It must have been
a nightmare.)

But I believe there are scientists and members of the press who know
that their fellow citizens
have been killed and maimed,
have had the very fabric of their lives stolen
by a cruel and sadistic psychodrama,
have been used as guinea pigs in vile experiments
-- sometime by the agents of their own government
who justified invasive torture
in the name of defense, medicine, and increased production.

We ask that you speak up.

We ask for sanctuary
