Many guests had followed the sound of the music.
We all watched as Dorothy and Sid walzed gracefully back and forth across
the deck,
close together.
When the music stopped, they kissed.
It was very quiet,
and then someone began to clap and shout.
Everyone joined in.
Dorothy and Sid smiled and then stepped off the deck.
They walked down the beach
with their arms around each other.
