The 1995 WELL Office Picnic will be held at Dunphy Park in Sausalito, California. The park is located off Bridgeway, between Locust and Napa Streets.

Driving directions first; transit information will follow.

To get there via car: whether coming from the north or south, take the "Sausalito/Marin City" exit from US 101. From the south, the exit curves to the right and leads directly onto Bridgeway. From the north, you'll come to a stoplight at the end of the ramp. Turn left at that light. You'll go under an overpass; there are two separate lanes, both of which lead to a right turn onto Bridgeway. You will be headed roughly southeast. The park is approximately 1-1/4 miles from the exit.

There is a stoplight at Harbor Drive. On your left, you'll see a large supermarket (Mollie Stone's.) This is the best market in the area for last-minute food and beverage purchases.

Approximately 1/2 mile beyond Harbor Drive, you'll come to a fork in Bridgeway. You'll see a triangular bus shelter on the right. There's little chance that you'll confuse the smaller street which forks off to the right (Filbert) for the main road. There's a 7-11 convenience store there, and Easterby St. meets Bridgeway at a right angle.

The intersection of Bridgeway and Easterby is an important landmark, as it marks the beginning of your best chance at free, unrestricted parking. You're most likely to find spots along that side of Bridgeway. The opposite side is a "no parking at any time - tow away" zone. If you're early, or feeling lucky, you can drive on and hope for a closer spot.

Whether driving or walking, you'll come to the intersection of Bridgeway and Napa streets. On your right, you'll notice a smallish sculpture of shiny metal triangles (presumably meant to represent sails.) To the left, you'll see a sign indicating "Cass's Marina," and a largish group of mailboxes painted in bright colors. The park is across the street to the left - you'll see a stand of trees. There is some parking in the gravel lot next to the park. Please be _very_ careful to note the smallish, weathered signs which indicate the private parking areas belonging to the Marina and other businesses.

There is additional parking off of Locust St. just south of the park. It's a left turn off of Bridgeway if you're heading south. This is, however, three hour parking. It is marked by a largish green "Parking" sign; there are several red boxcars on the left.

There's also some parking in the "Civic Center" area, along Caledonia and Bonita Streets. Look carefully for time limits and other restrictions to avoid tickets!

Public Transit: From San Francisco take the Golden Gate Transit bus #10 or #50 to Sausalito. There is a stop right at the edge of the park, which is just past Margaritaville. From the north you'll need to take one of the GG Transit buses that goes through Sausalito. From the East Bay the best way is to take BART to SF Civic Center and catch the GG bus by the Mc Donald's at the north end of Civic Center plaza. GG Transit Info: 415.332.6600
