It's that time again, when we begin to plot, plan (and later rehash) the monthly WOP; the WELL Office Party. Once held at the WELL Office, it's now located at:

The Presidio Yacht Club - Marin County, California

If you have never been there before, it's strongly suggested that you get the directions and other salient facts about the party.

Bottom line is: it's FREE, and all WELL users, their guests, and prospective WELL users are welcome to attend. The WELL provides the space, some basic utensils, and a BBQ fire outside on the deck.

People bring food, drink, or other amusements to share. However, no one is turned away for turning up empty-handed. Attendance swings between 50-150 people, and just about all tastes and persuasions will be represented. Both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are welcomed. The PYC has a full commercial kitchen, including ovens and microwave.

Children, and other "companion animals" are welcome. However, there are no organized facilities for their care. While the inside of the PYC probably presents fewer hazards than the typical home, the deck area is not a place for unsupervised drunks, idiots, or small children.

The party always begins around 6:30 PM and lasts until "whenever," which often works out to be 'round midnight.

The success of these parties depends on the kindness and consideration of the participants: both in making it happen and in cleaning up. There's a continual need for people to volunteer to stay after the party and help with the cleanup; no heavy scrubbing is involved, just picking up and putting away, maybe a little vacuuming.
