The club has an indoor range in Novato, Marin County, California with six shooting lanes of twenty yards. We are presently trying to find a location for an outdoor range. For now we shoot at the Sonoma Bowmen's outdoor range.
We have a diverse group of shooters from traditional longbow and recurve shooters to compound shooters, with and without sights. Some people even shoot several different styles and more youth and family memberships are creating a friendly atmosphere.

An indoor league is currently in progress on Monday evenings. There are often people shooting on Wednesday evenings as well.

Northwoods Indoor Range

Our members have put a lot of work into the indoor range recently.The Northern California Field Archery Association regional indoor shoot was held here in February of the past three years. We plan to host the event again in 1999. It is a dry place to shoot all year 'round.

Meetings

The General Membership Meeting is usually held on the first Thursday of each month at the range, starting at 7:30 p.m. Another location may be used when the weather turns cold and wet. New members are inducted into the club at these meetings and it is a good way to get an introduction to the club members and the range. There is usually shooting before or after these meetings when they are at the indoor range.

Members get together on Monday and Wednesday evenings around 7 p.m. to shoot and share tips and experiences. In the summer months the Wednesday rendez-vous is 3D target shooting in Sonoma. Visitors are welcome to join us at the indoor range at these times. Call for directions or more information.
