Prologue

Last update: May 8 2002.

This web page was first created on Valentine's Day 1995 with
the help of a nice little Chianti and an ex-sweetie.
It wasn't and isn't anything fancy: just some silly photos
and rantings about my life. In fact, most of you young-uns could
probably code the thing with you're eyes closed
(or at least I hope you could).

Who Am I?

Potential descriptors: Landscape architect, post-boomer, pre-genX, 3dStudio user, designer, half-nip, weenie.

Hobbies: Gardening, photography, dressing-up, 3-D CAD, web-surfing, road trips, geneaology, and refinishing furniture. Generally, I have much more pressing things to do than net surf.

School and stuff: Go look at my resume. I am a landscape architect - a licensed professional who is perpetually fascinated with academia. I have a B.A. in landscape architecture from UC Berkeley and am a graduate of the MLA program at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Shortly after graduating from school, I took the UNE and became a full-fledged licensed Landscape Architect in California. However, after five years of working in the deadline driven world of professional practice, I yearned once again for the thoughtful pace of academic life. So, I have returned to school to pursue a degree in Environmental Planning at UC Berkeley. I am focusing my studies on the effect of environmental design on crime.
