I am a landscape architect - a licensed professional who is perpetually fascinated with academia. I have a B.A. in landscape architecture from UC Berkeley and am a graduate of the MLA program at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Shortly after graduating from school, I took the UNE and became a full-fledged licensed Landscape Architect in California. However, after five years of working in the deadline driven world of professional practice, I yearned once again for the thoughtful pace of academic life. So, this fall, I am returning to school to pursue a degree in Environmental Planning at UC Berkeley. I hope to focus my studies on the effect of environmental design on crime.
