Sarah Kye Stapleton-Gray

formerly Sarah Kye Gray

After having received degrees in Russian studies from Bryn Mawr College and the University of Michigan , I naturally worked as a computer analyst for Merit network and the University of Michigan, as a computer manager and operations director for Jerry Brown, a stringer for Time magazine, a strategic projects manager for American Political Network, as the web manager for the National Organization for Women (NOW) for five years, and as the Weekend Editor for washingtonpost.com for one year. After working for CARAL for a project job, I am currently working for NOW again from the San Francisco Bay Area, where we bought a house in October 2001.

I married the former Ross Stapleton (now Ross Stapleton-Gray) in 1994. Here is a wedding picture (JPEG, 138K) of the two of us, and one of the wedding party. We have two wonderful daughters, Kye Veronica Stapleton-Gray and Chloe Thea Stapleton-Gray.  We also have three nephews, Quentin, Kenneth, and Lawrence; and a niece, Pilar.

My sister Deborah has a web site: Wing of Madness: A Depression Guide and my mom has a web site, Senior Women Web.

I have been designing web pages since 1994, when I created a feminist activist web page. Feel free to read an article I wrote for the Washington Post on shared parenting or an article for The San Francisco Chronicle on places to take children in the Bay Area.

I can be sent email to sarahksg at the iname.com site.
