The second Hookahman album features a somewhat different lineup and a more polished sound, though it's still often a quirky folk-pop sound. The direct Jr. connection here is drummer Larry Shelast, but there are many other connections. Jason Kodie plays with Mike McDonald in Agent Bumbo; Joe Bird and Wes Borg are members of Three Dead Trolls in a Baggie, who performed with Jr. on the collaborative Live at the Hyperbole album; Sherry Lee Heschel was a member of the Mike McDonald Band (version 1.0); and who knows how many more strands interconnect this web of musicians.
