Rustbucket is an Ottawa-based country rock band whose sound at times suggests that the band shares many of Jr. Gone Wild's influences, and at other times suggests that Jr. themselves are an influence. A few songs with accordion are reminiscent of celtic rockers Jimmy George. That's not to suggest that this band is derivative; on the contrary, they're developing their own style, and it's a good one.

Ian Cook, Rustbucket's drummer, served a tour of duty as drummer for Jr. a few years ago. He didn't play on any Jr. albums, but he did appear in a video.
