(I.K.S. Gorkon is a novels-only series featuring a Klingon starship crew. Beginning with the fourth book, the series moves to a wider scope and is renamed Klingon Empire. Though many of the characters first appeared in episodes of The Next Generation and Deep Space Nine, the Gorkon crew as it appears here was introduced in Keith R.A. DeCandido's Next Generation novel Diplomatic Implausibility. The series is written by DeCandido, except for the Gorkon short story in Tales of the Dominion War.)
