She is married to Silvio Levy, a mathematician, and lives in Berkeley, CA; works in Emeryville, CA and wherever else she needs to go to make pictures.

She takes portraits on an 8x10 view camera, but also shoots on medium format and digital. And rarely leaves the house without the beloved Yashica T4.

Sheila will be showing a collection of photographs at the Photolab Gallery in Berkeley in January 2009.
