I turned 33 in October of 1995, and my girlfriend threw a party for me. I managed to coax the drivers licenses out of most of the guests and scanned them, and some that claimed they hadn't brought them (yeah, right) were captured via hi-8 vidcam and imported. Additionally, those that wouldn't succumb to pressure but had Web pages had their images or icons freely stolen, without remorse.

Something that was commented on during the party, and which I readily agree with is this: I find it quite bizarre that people carry pictures of themselves around. Obviously, it's pretty much required by governmental doctrine. But the fact that we do carry them, and don't really think about it much is quite perplexing to me. I mean, the crappiest picture ends up being your given identity, and you have virtually no say in the matter. Don't you find that weird? I do...........Anyway....

As you can imagine since I'm a Web geek so are a lot of my buds. So, if you click on someone's picture chances are you'll either go to their Web page, or the group or company they work for. Have fun!!!
