FORD GT
The Ford GT is the first American racing machine to defeat all European competitors in back-to-back endurance events of 12 hours or more. It was the overall winner at the Daytona Continental and prototype winner at Sebring, Florida. Conceived last year by the Ford Motor Company, it is being handled in a racing and development program this year by Shelby American.
