• Explains a relationship of significance.
• Reduced Uncertainty- of distribution, production
• Is valuable because of the context-
• value might be time dependent- more valuable now!
• value might be person dependent- more valuable to me!
• how exact does info need to be? Depends on context!

Information as a Commodity

• Information has a value- to some people
• Context allows me to do something with Information
• Examples
• Stock information- valuable if I am a broker or have capital.
• Plant resource information- value changes depending on context.
• scale of tribe- can help heal someone
• scale of globe- can make me very wealthy
