For more than a decade, the National Meeting has provided a forum to
discuss alcohol, other drug, and violence prevention issues, data,
research, and resourceful programs at colleges and universities.
Healthy People 2010
Healthy People 2010 is the national prevention initiative (now under
development) to improve health in the next decade. It will be the third
set of national targets established for health promotion and disease
On September 15, 1998, a draft of Healthy People 2010 was published
for public comment. To facilitate this process, five Regional Meetings
will be held to gather feedback.
