Here (Human Skin Tone Gimp Patterns Zip File) are a set of 13 patterns for your GIMPing pleasure. Download them and install them in your user–level GIMP “patterns” directory. They are useful for giving your human images skin tones of realistic colors, though they still need some texturing effort on the user's part. They look as shown below.

Well, at least as a starting point that was true. Some of them came out looking so much like sandpaper after just the randomization, I put a lot of effort into smoothing them out without changing their color statistics dramatically.

These skin tone patterns can be used to bake gingerbread men.

They can equally well be used to create abstract art. [Some of these are pre-existing patterns, not included here.]
