Offering money solves the wrong problem.

I don't need money to live, I need a job in my profession (computer programming) to lend me self esteem.

Giving money causes more problems than it solves.

I've worked in Senegal, where parents maim children to improve their begging take.

I don't want that to start here.

In our money-driven society, the only way to avoid that is to make begging unprofitable.

Just say “no” to panhandlers.
