Woodstock 94, this is the first vacation if have had away from my two children in many years. I ordered the 4 tickets that were accompanied with a Blue lot parking pass and shuttle buss service, the First day they went on sale, an expense of $574.00. We have waited anxiously for August 12, 1994 the day my three freinds and myself would leave for Woodsock. We left Mechanicsville Virginia at 11:00 a.m. and arrived at our should have been parking lot at 8:00 p.m. It seemed that due to the people that arrived earlier in the day there were no parking places left in our designated parking lot (Blue). Oh well, they instructed us to go to another parking lot (BLACK). We arrived there at 8:30 p.m. and were told that a shuttle would been there to get us soon. Not, at 5:30 a.m. August 13, 1994 we were still waiting for our shuttle bus. Later on a dump truck starting coming by and taking people to the concert site for $5.00 a head. Sounds okay, so my three freinds and myself rode from the BLACK lot to WOODSTOCK 94' in the back of a dump truck. About 8:00 a.m. August 13, 1994 we were finally at the concert site, by 1:00 p.m. I was ready to leave Woodstock. There were 4 times more the number of people at Woodstock than what they should have let in the gate. Due to the overcrowded conditions, we have only seen one of the performers. They had speakers set up through out the concert site, but unfortunely they did not have monitors displaying the concert stage. I will buy the Woodstock 94' video, just so I can see the performers I paid lots of money to see but could not. I learned a lesson to never, never go to a Woodstock environment again.
