I understand that ticket sales are below expectations. I'm afraid to =
think that this event may not reach the fantastic proportions of the =
original. My belief is that Woodstock '69 was such a cultural coup simply =
by the fact that its audience was enormous. True, with the advent of this =
"info hiway" among other communication means this will possibly be the =
largest "attended" human event in history. You must be conscious of the =
fact that the charm and appeal of Wood '69 was more a tactile experience. =
And, in as much as we have not perfected the VR aspects of the Internet, =
I think the result could be terribly anti-climactic. But good luck to =
all, regardless. Please prove me wrong.

hey folks up in albany! how's the traffic up there? i heard they set up
roadblocks late fri (2am?) early sat.. also heard at the press tent that if
people, INCLUDING THOSE WITH TICKETS, will not be allowed in to their
parking lots.. that's fucked. tell 'em to come on down & jump the fence like
normal people... :)

To all and sundry!

i hate to rain on anyone's parade (except maybe a major
corporation's)...
there's been enough rain at woodstock...

but I'd be interested in knowing if word about the "BOYCOTT PEPSI"
Campaign is getting around at this Fesival of Peace! etc...

it has to do with Pepsi and Burma and money and military men who
kill people and keep the Nobel Peace Prize Winner for 1991; Aung
San Suu Kyi, in prison in her own home...

i suppose people might have investigated Pepsicola, Inc. a little
more closely before inviting them to sponsor the event, no?

Alas! this was not to be...

Well,..... it's never to late to start doing the right thing!

Greeting Woodstock '94!

Thought I'd pop in and say hi. I'm listening to the festival on BBC radio 1
live. Most excellent. Better than writing my thesis, which is what I
should be doing. :-( Still, in about 36 hours I'll be able to stagger
home for a hot shower, deep pan pizza, and a warm bed, so life's not all
bad. At least I don't have to sleep in the mud! :-)
