 Yeah. A LAN poet. (won't even say I didn't know it). I've been accused of
 worse. Some conversations have yielded in a tiny understanding of what a LAN
 might be, and i seem to fit the bill....

 for me, anywhere but near a crt is, well, kinda dry. Although I'm always
 here and don;t even visit the apple tent anymore, but I do tattoo festers

 Hi. You may have read my stuff (see grunge and being a fag at woodstock). I
 have been called a shithead and a nice guy all in the same day by people who
 live 3000 miles from my home (for my views on grunge and homophobic
 assholes). That's why I keep coming back.

 ditto, sorta. I know i've never seen anything quite like the Well myself.
 I always figured that if I could ever log-on, which I will in the near
 future, I would find my creativity flowing more freely, and I see this is
 correct.
 
 I'm here at woodstock going on about 30 min. sleep because I've been too
 busy to even scope a spot. I wasn't too busy to catch two good acts on the
 north stage today, and I'll be sure to fill in details on Arrested
 Development's Sunday Show for any of you who are interested (though I
 suspect most of you aren').

 Hi, this could end up being my last transmission as the end of the fest is
 nigh (unless it goes into monday).  I'd like to thank the Well staff for
 being great, the people at the festival for being peaceful and cool (and for
 sharing your drugs with me), Green Day for the greatest live show I've ever
 seen and MTV for being total cocksuckers (they made an adolescent kid get
 naked with his girlfriend outside my tent).

 hi  folks, i'm  back! no liam, the end is far from nigh, in terms of wdstk
 days. rave til dawn monday morn at least, then i'm sure the partying will
 continue to go on..  p.s. JT, i like arrested development too
 
 i went home sat eve, and came bk for tonight's eve/morn festivities, enjoyed
 a shower & actually slept in my own bed. i think i got like 8 hrs sleep
 (which is below my normal quota), tried to stock up on some xtra hrs sleep,
 but i've been running on this bizzarre wdstk high, & haven't bn able to do
 anything else but watch all the news coverage...   eeek
 
 my buddy joey is here agn too, (repeat visit, and he's also L of LAN) &
 we're psyched to be bk.  the redhead went home & stayed home though..
 he says he has to work in the morning..  lame excuse. i'm going from here
 straight to work at 8:30am....  he'll be bk on the well when he gets to
 American U in DC..   unfortunately i don't have the cash at the moment for a
 computer, so this just might be my last entry for a while..  then agn, i'll
 visit him sometime..
 
 ps, on a rough estimate, how many LANs did you have visit?

 To everyone who posted in  this conf.
 
 I really enjoyed the xchange. I didnt watch on TV cause I dont have 
 cable. My only exposure to woodstock was through the WELL. It was very 
 exciting reading the posts as the whole thing went down. I got a pretty 
 good image of what was happening. Now I definately want to see some 
 footage so I can relate to what I've read.
 
 What an interesting bunch of cool people logged on this weekend. Liam, 
 you were one of the most controversial and also commendable for the 
 attack on the jesus freak homophobe. But you sure make enemies fast. 
 Wouldn't mind meeting you someday anyway.
 
 Hope y'all took home more than just mud and fewer brain cells. Bring home 
 a stronger sense of unity among your friends, young and old alike. Share 
 it outside of Saugerties for the rest of your lives...

 Yeah, the flow was almost as if they'd been spending oodles of bucks like
 the rest of us in Net surfing!
