The BBC seems to like David, commissioning several radio plays for Radio 4 and BBC7. The first of these, Olivia's Line, is a romantic comedy set during the production of Cleopatra, the 1962 Hollywood epic starring Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton. Read all about it.

Voices through the Wall is a family drama about two young brothers dealing with their parents' separation. The whole story is told from their limited and sometimes naïve perspective. The production features outstanding performances from two very talented teenage actors - and it gained a good deal of press attention.

The Parson is a one-off horror story, produced as part of a series called Voices from the Grave. It's one of the first plays to make full use of digital radio technology, offering a text commentary alongside the audio broadcast. The BBC have created a website for the series.

"Portobello" is a short film set in Portobello Market, Notting Hill. What begins as a realistic montage quickly turns into a miniature musical. Part opera, part documentary, part romance, "Portobello" won the JVC Sharp Shooters Competition and the London Weekend Television Whose London? Awards. It was screened in Leicester Square and broadcast on ITV.
