Greetings, folks. Before you ask the inevitable question, "When's
the next auction?", please take a minute or two to read the
following.

Mark and Trout (Michael to some of you) are pleased to announce
the opening of an entirely new enterprise, LITTLE HOUSE ON THE
PARKING LOT. Those of you who dog-sledded it through the snow to
attend our last two auctions will already know how to find the
old parish hall at 524 Wellington St. W., south-east of King and
Bathurst and just a stone's throw from Mark's old Fort York
Auctions premises. After a couple of months of careful
preparation, we are now headquartered there permanently.

We have already made significant progress in assembling a diverse
selection of antiques, collectibles, home furnishings and other
curious items for sale or rental. We have recently purchased a
larger truck and, having furnished it with new brakes and passed
an emissions test, have been out scouring and scoring fine
merchandise from a wide variety of sources. Please come check out
our approximately 2000 square feet of showroom space during our
regularly scheduled hours, Wednesday through Saturday from noon
to 6 p.m., or by appointment. The new business number for all
inquiries is 416-595-1115.

We offer realistic, affordable prices not only to dealers but to
collectors, decorators, renovators, and the merely curious alike.
Yes, there will be future auctions, but you will not typically
see our regular offerings on the auction floor. Here's a short

Quilts and all sorts of other stuff -- please come see us soon, it's
always a work in progress, and new gear is arriving almost every
day!

Future plans call for regular gallery shows and art
installations, as well as other cultural and quasi-cultural
events. We are actively interested in artists, new or
established, with work to exhibit. The hall is also available, on
a restricted basis, for classes, meetings, and special events.

Finally, we are planning a major auction for Monday, July 9, with
preview Sunday afternoon, July 8. (Sorry, the hall will be closed
Saturday the 7th for set up.) The sale will feature partial
contents of an established Moore Park home (really nice stuff,
folks!), plus a whole bunch of other great merchandise. More
details to follow soon. We've still got some room for quality
consignments, so call us if you've got the gear!
