Tycho Brahe became interested in astronomy while he was a university student. In 1572, he discovered a supernova within the constellation Cassiopeia. His fame grew, and he received royal funding to construct the Uraniborg observatory. During his lifetime, he collected vast quantities of astronomical data. |
