Northeast

John Rozz, OM at Rock/WBYR (98.9fm, Van Wert, Ohio) and Classic Rock/WFWI (92.3fm, Fort Wayne) departs for sunny Florida where he'll be PD at WRXK in Fort Myers.

Coyote, last nights at CHR/WMEE (97.3fm, Fort Wayne) is now PD & afternoons at Modern AC/WYSR (94.1fm, Roanoke).

Back at WMEE, Sean Bratton fills Coyote's night spot. Bratton arrives from CHR/WZOQ in Lima, Ohio.

Religious/WLAB (88.3fm, Fort Wayne) has their translator application for 89.7fm in Huntington denied by the FCC.

Northcentral

The FCC approves the sale of AC/WAYT and WWIP (1510am, 105.7fm, both Wabash) by Conway Communications Corp. to Mid-America Radio. Purchase price: $285,000.

Religious/WQKO (91.1fm, Howe) is sold by Maranatha Christian Fellowship to CSN International. In addition to numerous translators, CSN owns a handful of stations nationwide.

CHR/WSMK (99.1fm, Buchanan, Michigan) flips to a more urban feel as "South Bend's New 99.1fm ... It's Tha Bomb!"

Northwest

Ethnic/WNDZ (750am, Portage) flips format to Douglas Broadcasting's "Personal Achievement Radio".

Central

Bob & Tom add WWVR (105.5fm, West Terre Haute) to their affiliate list.

Westcentral

Good Shepherd Radio applies for a translator on 88.5fm, in Veedersburg. Presumably, this will translate Religious/WKLO (89.9fm, Marengo).

Southeast

Rumor into IRW that Classic Hits WWWY (104.9fm, Columbus) has been sold to Artistic Media Partners and will soon move to a more CHR feel.

Good Shepherd Radio adds a translator for Religious/WKLO (89.9fm, Marengo). W274AD signs on with 55 watts at 102.7fm in Corydon.

Southwest

American Family Association is granted a new station on 89.9fm in Vincennes with the calls WATI.
