WAJC signed on September 25, 1950 from the Ayres home at 1204 N. Delaware St.
Originally at 91.9fm, WAJC moved to 104.5fm in 1956. WAJC was originally
owned by the Arthur Jordan Conservatory
of Music. Butler University sold
WAJC in 1993 for more than $7 million to
Susquehanna Radio Corp. and the
station became WGRL. 104.5fm is now
WJJK.
