WASK(AM): 1450am in Lafayette signed on in 1942. 1450am became an ESPN affiliate in mid-August, 2006.
WASK(FM): WASK-FM began operation on September 28, 1964, on 105.3fm, as a beautiful music station. It changed to country in 1974, and eventually flipped calls in 1994 to WKOA. WASK-FM now is on 98.7fm (the frequency signed on March 11, 1993). 98.7fm was WIIZ before its current WASK-FM.
