Station History

WBAT signed on June 7, 1947 at 1600am, daytime only (500 watts). In the Spring of 1951, WBAT shifted from 1600am to 1400am and went 24 hours. Mid-America Radio Group, Inc. sold WBAT to Vox Communications.
