Station History

96.3fm signed on at 6:00am on October 28, 1991. To earn the CP, Owner Bill Shirk bought out the other ten contendors for $589,750, in March 1991. He received FCC approval in July. WHHH was sold (along with its sister stations) to Radio One, Inc. in March 2000. The stations' sale was approved by the FCC on 16 May 2000.
