Station History

102.9fm signed on May 24, 1989. William (Bill) Deibel is former owner. Keith Manning, the trustee for Deibel's estate sold WNJY to RadioWorks, Inc. for $1 million in July 1999. The station flipped formats to CHR, and calls to WXXB in June 2001.
