1340am signed on November 18, 1931 as WJAK. WTRC-FM is now WBYT. February 25, 2000 marked the final day for "Sound Off", a local talkshow hosted by Allen Strike. In April 2000, WTRC(AM) flipped formats from Westwood One's "MOR" format.
