Neil Harkins
My finer points:
I am currently a System Administrator for Whole Earth Networks (and The WELL).
In my non-existent spare time, I enjoy messing with music, writing screenplays,
making wine, and just generally being a computer nerd.
I sing for BloodPhart whenever I'm on the East Coast.
Currently unsigned, and unwilling to change the name. Listen below.
I am also an ordained minister in the Universal Life
Church, available for weddings, batisms, funerals, etc. You, too,
can be one of our Blessed Numbers,
Join the ULC!
Don't worry, it's not some freaky cult, everybody does whatever the hell
they want, with one exception: We got licenses now! Watch out!
Any "Organized Religion" is a farce, (that goes without saying, right?),
but I guess a lot of people in this world need that kind of thing to be happy
or to remember to behave. Were I serious, I'd have already made
a fortune selling monopoly-style "Get out of HELL, free!" cards for your
peace of mind.
I have done a few techno tapecovers for friends
from philly: Accelerated Culture
and 23rd Generator. But that's not really my thing,
I'm still stuck on Bryce and Lens Flares, which, lucky for me, are
still cool for techno.
That's ok, my boy Dan kicks enough ass at graphics for both of us:
check out his
Shockwave Web Fighting Game
(duh... the shockwave plugin from macromedia director is required).
I have done some CGIs in my day as well, such as the
HomeTheaterTech Magazine
Product Locator. I have a Mac, a homemade PC, and Sparc at home.
This should explain which one(s) I like the best: "PCs are for people who just
like to *have* a computer, Macs are for people who like to *use* their
computers, Unix is for people who want to *be* at one with their computer."
BloodPhart
What can I say? The name may be offensive to some, but that's the whole point,
right? To scare off the meek, so they don't get offended by the lyrics,
which are worse! But, all in all, it pretty much rocks, see for yourself.
